PRECiRRi was developed under the ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence (ECoE)—the leading hub for space technology, Earth observation (EO), and remote sensing in the Eastern Mediterranean, Middle East, and North Africa (EMMENA) region. Based in Cyprus and supported by the EU H2020 EXCELSIOR Teaming Phase 2 Project, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Cyprus, and the Cyprus University of Technology, ECoE hosts a multidisciplinary team of over 100 experts in environmental monitoring, geospatial analytics, and EO applications.
ERATOSTHENES CoE mission is to advance both basic and applied research in EO and space technologies for the sustainable monitoring of natural resources, infrastructure, and societal challenges. Through strategic collaborations with industry, public authorities, and international organizations, we deliver innovative, data-driven solutions in climate resilience, disaster risk reduction, agriculture, water, land monitoring, and more.
